Integrative Naturopathic Care in Red Deer, Alberta

Your body feels confusing.

Your care shouldn't.

Persistent fatigue, hormone changes, digestive symptoms, insomnia, migraines, and metabolic concerns don't always fit neatly into one diagnosis. I'll help you make sense of the bigger picture, review what's already been investigated, and build a treatment plan that's thoughtful, evidence-informed, and practical.

Who I’m For…

You might be in the right place if…

  • You've been told your bloodwork is normal, but you still don't feel like yourself.

  • You're looking for answers without being overwhelmed by complicated wellness protocols.

  • You want someone to explain what's happening—not just hand you a supplement list.

  • You want a practical treatment plan that fits real life.

What Makes My Practice Different?

Many of my patients come to me feeling stuck between two extremes: being told nothing is wrong, or feeling overwhelmed by complicated wellness protocols.

My Approach Is Different.

I combine medical evidence with nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and supplements when they make sense. The goal is a treatment plan that's realistic for your everyday life—not one that becomes a full-time job.

I want you to understand what's happening in your body. We'll talk through the evidence, discuss uncertainty honestly, and decide together what is most worth trying first.

Food can be a powerful tool, but it shouldn't make life smaller. I don't routinely recommend eliminating foods unless there's a clear reason it’s likely to help your specific symptoms.

Bring any bloodwork or investigations you've already had. I'll review them carefully before recommending anything new. Additional testing is used when it's likely to answer an important question—not simply because it's available.

You don't need a cupboard full of bottles to make progress. I prioritize the ones with the strongest evidence and the greatest potential benefit, and I explain why each recommendation is there.

I don't expect you to choose between your providers. I work collaboratively with other healthcare providers whenever possible and want your care to fit together, not compete.

Care tailored to where you need it most

Meet Dr. Jen Pilon

A woman with medium-length curly brown hair, wearing glasses, a black top, and a leopard print cardigan, smiling against a dark background.

Hi!

I'm a residency-trained naturopathic doctor with over 10 years of clinical experience and a background in integrative primary care.

I love helping people whose symptoms don't fit neatly into one diagnosis—especially chronic fatigue, digestive concerns, hormone changes, insomnia, and dysautonomia.

My goal is simple: explain what's happening, prioritize what matters most, and create a treatment plan that's practical for your everyday life.

My Approach

I combine evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with practical primary care.

That means taking symptoms seriously, reviewing previous testing carefully, and recommending additional testing only when it's likely to change treatment decisions.

I don't believe everyone needs expensive functional testing, long supplement lists, or highly restrictive diets. Instead, we focus on identifying the biggest contributors to your symptoms and building a realistic treatment plan you can actually follow.

“No giant supplement protocols. No unnecessary testing. Just thoughtful, practical care for complicated symptoms.”

What Patients are Saying…

  • "I was skeptical about naturopathic medicine before seeing Dr. Pilon. I was impressed by how knowledgeable she was and how every recommendation was grounded in medical, herbal, and lifestyle evidence. It wasn't 'woo' at all—it was a balanced, science-informed approach to health."

  • "I felt heard and seen during a very traumatic time in my health journey. Dr. Pilon gave me renewed hope by helping me understand other tests and treatment options that had never been discussed with me before."

  • "I love the evidence-based lens she uses. She explains the 'why' behind every recommendation, and I leave appointments feeling informed, empowered, and in control of my health care decisions."
